Yes Unlimited is the lead agent for all Specialist Homelessness Services in the Southern Murrumbidgee area and in partnership with Homes Out West, Vinnie’s Services (Quamby House and Deniliquin) and VERTO Tenants Advice provide a range of services that support people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. When we talk about homelessness or risk of homelessness, we are not just talking about people who are sleeping on the streets. This might include people who are couch surfing from place to place, not feeling safe at home, experiencing family and domestic violence, facing eviction or just getting behind in your rent.
Yes Unlimited uses the five foundations developed by YFoundations Safety and Stability, Home and Place, Health and Wellness, Connections, Education and Employment as a framework for how we view the solution to homelessness. By working with people to establish each of these foundations we believe that people can be defined by their successes and aspirations not their problems. It’s not just about housing!
Yes Unlimited runs Broughton House Youth Refuge, Betty’s Place Women’s Refuge, Outreach Case Management services, a Centralised Intake Assessment and Brief Intervention System and also manages a number of transitional accommodation properties in partnership with our community-housing partner Homes Out West.
